Welcome to my world!
The final tally of the sales from this month at Miriam's Place was $1365! I am very grateful to them for hostin gme again, and very grateful to everyone who came to look at my stuff. Westside Cares has gratefully received that donation and appreciates you as well. If you paid me cash, you won’t get a letter from them, but if you made an online donation or wrote a check, they will acknowledge your purchase. It is not a tax deductible donation, however, since you got a product for your money.
Another place to see my work is at Misty Mountain Collective at 705 N. Nevada Ave. It’s a cozy place to sit and relax with a coffee.
As time goes by, I find that most of my pieces nowadays are personal requests. That seems to be working well, so if you want to make a request, contact me by messaging through my Facebook or Instagram accounts, or by e-mail.
I will let you know how much I am asking and we will make an arrangement for you to get your piece.
Thank you so much for your interest and support!

Art
ABOUT MARTY SLAYDENHi! I’m Marty. I used to be a teacher, but now I am an artist. Making things with my hands has brought me joy ever since I was a small child, so it makes me very happy now to do it full time. I enjoy working in various mediums – sewing, needle felting, and encaustic painting but currently my main pursuit is pottery.
Whimsical Pottery
I give my pottery away to people who are willing to donate my asking price to Westside Cares, a Colorado Springs organization. I rarely accept commissions, but sometimes I am willing. If you are interested in my work, please follow my social media accounts or contact me via e-mail. Thank you for stopping by!
